X-PACK'S collection - September 2015

Toy Story, oh yeh! :D

I used to think Star Wars figures did there own thing at night, probably why to this day I don't like storing my collection away in boxes or having things in perspex cases :?

Been working on the reshuffle this evening. Had a clear out of **** in the attic. Made some space and found a nice shelving unit to expand the display. Pictures soon 8)

The new set up looks fantastic ! :D You've displayed them really nicely and also can enjoy your tea with the family without upsetting the wife every day !!

Yeah great collection dude, you have some great pieces there mate and Yakey looks cool with that weapon :)

Is that not Yak's weapon? Lol

Cheers guys. I only wish the Mrs appreciated my collection as much as you lot

That's a very good looking collection and a very neat idea to use the attic. This combination of loosies, cards, playsets and vehicles looks the best to me (from an artistic POV also) & evokes the spirit of childhood in the toy rather than a very clinical approach of just neat looking expensive rows of acrylics :) (though I do aspire to that too someday...do I?)

Love the way you have taken photographs also. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your kind words :D It's actually difficult to photograph up there because the lighting is so bad. Ended up using the flash gun for these which is why they are quite stark

Thanks man. It is a bit of a Star Wars cave :) I'm fairly happy with the way it is now. My only wish is that I had room out of the attic but it seems to be keeping ok up there.

Looks amazing mate, iv got to admit, I regularly visit the thread and notice something diff every time.

Cracking collection, some really nice pieces in there mate, the whole look of if is like some of the guys have said...a toy shop front.

Hats off to you congrats on an awesome corner of the SW universe in sunny Lancs :D 8)

I keep thinking that I must be the only one in Lancashire. That can't be right. It's not. I bet there are hundreds.

The Mrs is still after that story of local collectors. I just change the subject... :?

I want that ****ing Yoda!! :x
Is the La Guerre Des Étoiles Yoda originally sealed?

Nice collection. 8)

The Meccano Yoda. Bought about 20 years ago in decent nick from a dealer in Blackburn. Over time the bubble gradually started to come away on one side so I decided to reseal it. It was a case of leave it hanging off or tidy it up. Tough call

It's not for sale i'm afraid. One of the reasons is because I have no idea of value. It's possible I would trade it rather than sell 8)

Haha, understood. Very nice piece. Hold on to it. 8)

Hats off for an excellent update! Really love the variety and enthusiasm of your display, cracking stuff. If I had the dough, I'd go for ESB cards too - they're so choice.

Awesome lair of goodies Sir, thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks Q. I'm looking out for new additions but the remaining cardbacks are getting difficult to find ...mainly because of the cost  Plus, whenever I find something nice on Ebay, other people are bidding! :x How dare they!
