WTB: Meccano carded figures & cardbacks

I have a very nice 20 back mecanno ben that I am considering selling if you are interested.
Sadly, I wasn't.
It's been stolen a few years ago. I was desperate.
I had no courage to start again a collection. Until now.
I've seen a couple of carded Meccanos on eBay recently.
I didn't bid. Now I have regrets.
So I think it's time to start again!
Any help will be appreciated! Those babies are so hard to find!

I would certainly recommend insurance to everyone, if only for piece of mind.
Just to give you an idea Steve - I pay £12 a month and that provides cover of up to £25,000. No I know my collection is not worth that but it cover the contents of my entire home. You also need to consider that if (heaven forbid) you were to have your collection stolen you may not be able to get the same pieces at the same prices.
When making a claim, you could of course povide quotes on items listed with buy it now prices which we all know are often way over the odds. Thats assuming you can actually find that is!
It is also worth noting that any item worth over £2000 needs to be specfied in detail to the insurance company and accompanied by phographic evidence in order to make a claim.

Bloody hell Yanice, really sorry to hear about your experience. How many did you have dude? The guys on here are great and no doubt point you in the right direction to get to where you were before. It may take a bit of time but they are out there, so good luck dude.
