Hi all.

For those of us that lived in Sussex back in the early years will probably remember a good old chain of toy stores called Gamleys.

I was able to get most of my original figures from those stores....

So... In my quest for another set of 96, i'm hoping someone out there may have, or know of an MOC or even a cardback that would have a price tag from said toy shop on it.

If that is so, please let me know if you wish to part with it.. condition not an issue.. I just want it for that nostalgic price tag.

Cheers for reading.

I grew up in Hampshire as a kid and remember Gamleys well, fantastic shop.

Never really ventured into Hampshire in my younger years, but frequented Littlehampton, Bognor, Worthing and Brighton stores a fair bit... so only knew of them being in Sussex... although they did call themselves 'the toyshop of the south'

They were quality shops.

Thanks to Mr Palitoy I now have a few cardbacks on their way to me.... would still love a MOC too though...

The one in Hampshire was in Fareham. Got a few of my Star Wars figures in that shop when I was kid. Gamleys logo was a Teddy Bear if I remember correctly.

I remember the big Gamleys that used to be in Crawley. I always assumed it to be a national chain for some reason.

I remember getting Zoids and Lego from there, and possibly action force but I don't actually remember ever buying any star wars. Think it all came from my parents.
