Rulair was/is a guy that basically sent a load of so-so condition MOC to be graded U loose figures in search of high grades. Basically he trashed a load of fairly decent MOC to go for the U Grade, oh and he then tried to sell a load of them on as well.

A tit that was in it purely for himself and didn't give two shits about anything else.

He is no different than Rulair. The ONLY difference is he is friends with more people (he is a dealer...people never like upsetting a dealer ) and has been in the game longer.

I have nothing against Robbie personally. I am sure he is a good guy, as is probably Rulair. Both have destroyed copious amounts of MOC for their own gain though. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Josh - I see what points you make with the similarities between the pair of them,I can only comment on my own dealings with Robbie which have been great,I certainly wouldnt be knocking the guy when all I have ever had is good dealings,but equally I'm fairly sure I dont suck his ass either :lol: did make me chuckle though!

From what i hear there is more to people having an issue with this Rulair chap than just ugrading something. Lots of collectors ugrade and altho many of us find it distateseful it doesn't breed an immediate hatred. I think it's more to do with rulair's obvious and blatant distain and disregard for the hobby and it's collectors which i think is a fair enough reason for people to have an issue with him. Tho having said that, there's ugrading and there's there's ugrading a VC Jawa. If you can't dislike that and the person doing it, and for 100% personal gain and greed rather than preference i might add, then i guess you can't have a problem with anything anyone does. I personally think it's a positive thing when people like this in the hobby aren't looked on to fondly.
If i know someone likes ugrading or ugraded figures (and i have experienced this and found it difficult to be fair), i will make it clear i don't like what they do but it doesn't mean i have to dislike them. To get to that stage there would have to be a lot more to it. Not black and white i know but i guess you can miss many colours of a situation when you look at things that way... sometimes... :wink:
