Would you swap your collection for a screen used prop?

I would, however, trade my newly acquired vintage for a prop in a heartbeat if it was a piece I liked. I can reacquire these MOCs anytime and I have the pleasure of the hunt all over again.

That's a good way to look at it if you have a collection of production pieces, even an extensive one. A screen used prop for a room full of toys you could buy any day of the week would be a FANTASTIC swap, if you could stomach trying to rebuild it all over again that is! I think it's a no brainer if you have a set of carded figures or a loose set though and I believe you can still pick up single props for the price of a high grade loose set (well maybe just one..and a small one but still!).

I prefer my moc's , they remind me of moments in my childhood going into the toy shop " priceless " screen props I just don't care about .

The vintage toys for me also. It's the buzz I get buying ships and figures I dreamed about owning in my childhood. After first seeing starwars I wanted them all! I used to look at the ads on tv and figures in shops and my parents had never been fit to afford them. Now it's in my control the spending! even though I probably still can't afford them but I keep on buying.
The prop would be nice to have. But it's the happy memories from the toys that keep me collecting them. And i don't think I would swap them ever for anything of same value.

No I don't think so, I love the films as much as the toys but wouldn't feel any nostalgic attachment to an object, it's all about the films.
