Worth while purchase?

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to vintage collecting, i am not to familiar with differences between leg stamps etc, but i found this Blonde Hair Luke Skywalker in Brighton for £14, it does have a few flaws, the tip of the saber is missing and a few marks on the back, one smear looks like ink which i am tempted to try and remove, although would thinner damage it?

For £14 good deal?

Can't really go wrong with Luke Farmboy at that price although I won't offer any advice on using thinner!..

Its nit a bargain, put it that way. The ink mark won't come out, it ends up quite deep in the plastic. If you like it, buy it. It would cost that on ebay with postage.

Haha i think i will leave it as it is, the last for my original 12 assortment so im pretty happy. Maybe i wont dabble with the thinner just yet lol

You can try to remove ink on the unpainted parts on luke. But I would not try to remove anything on the painted parts. Because you can remove the paint on the legs and head

I light dabbing of nail varnish remover will get rid of the ink! but don't attempt it on the painted parts...

Did you ever get an update on the VC Jawa you brought?
