Sweet album, I remember that world cup very well, I remember being completely annoyed every single game at the sound the huge crowd made constantly blowing on their vuvuzela's. :evil:

Nice football too, I take it it's never been played? it looks mint.

Yeah it was a good one. I remember the game England went out, Germany again I think?? I was at a summer fair watching it with my Mrs in a packed out local football teams clubhouse. We were necking cider and it was well funny, really good atmosphere. No I don’t use the football, just for keeps. I got it cos it just looks so cool and was quite a controversial ball at the time. Had to have one :wink:

I think it was Germany now you've mentioned that, I also remember USA drawing with us and US fans were on telly celebrating cus we didn't beat them at our own game, I was gutted. :lol: Yeah you can't beat a good pub style atmosphere during the world cup.

Is that the ball that was supposed to have been super aerodynamic but it just drifted all over the place like a floater ball?

Had this glass for 36 years too. Won it at a holiday camp in Spain, don’t remember anything about the football

Also got a completed 86 album, only album I ever completed until South Africa 2010

Very true on both counts. Ray Wilkins on one page and Mark Wright’s super mullet and neck on the other
