'Word' help

Does anyone know how I might be able to recover a document from my PC.

I'm certain I saved it but can't seem to find it.

There's a possibility it's saved in a temporary internet file, but can't seem to access the file either

Vista's search function is shite! I can't find **** all on my pc anymore.

Hopefully you are right as anything unsaved would have prompted you to save before closing.. !

How about going to the start menu, and (assuming you have document history enabled) checking what the last documents accessed were? normally saves about 10-20

I've tried that and it's not there. Also tried the search function. I'm wondering now whether I've over written it with the earlier version of the document. In which case I'm going to have re do all the owrk I did on it!!! :twisted:

I honestly can't get anything to come up with any keywords or even using the correct file extensions on vista search lol I think mine is broken but hope you have more luck, if your search works the *.docx. will work and then its fingers crossed you see it!
