Spoke to my mum a couple of weeks ago and I asked her about Star Wars toys she said she knew where some old bits and pieces were. I popped round last night and the top old deary had found these out, now I thought they were long gone, picked them all up in 1999 at a convention in Northampton I know it was 99 as Warwick Davies signed his sig with "99" nice little fee haul even if they were mine anyway!

Thanks for all the replies guys, I'm not a signature guy but I wonder if I could complete my first 12 back run and the correct signatures to go with them that would be a pretty cool display! Although stormtrooper jawa tusken raider obi-wan and Death Star gunner probably wouldn't be a "go-er" ;)

In the words of General Dodonna:

"You are required to maneuver straight down this trench and skim the surface to this point. The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system."

Thats quite a neat idea.Obviously Ford,Fisher,Hamill,Baker,Prowse,Mayhew,Daniels are all easy to get.Alec Guinness on an Obi Wan pic will set you back,as will a Peter Diamond for a Tusken raider.Jack Purvis would be the ideal Jawa piece, but is rare as hens teeth and would cost more than a thousand easily. The DSC has never been indentified, but i would try to get Joe Johnston on a DSC pic,as he pretty much helped design the character and also played a DS gunner.Stormtrooper-take your pick, but Colin Skeaping would be my first port of call, unless you done a multi signed trooper piece.

Hope that helps buddy.

A signed Sir Alec Guinness won't set you back that much. However on a SW pic it will. He disliked signing Sw photos. A friend of mine knew him and said he was absolutely delightful and a real gent.

For the Jawa Jack Purvis was on the card. He sadly died a few years back. He also played Wally in Time Bandits. An alternative would be Rusty Goffe who attends fairs.

The Sandperson on the card was Peter Diamond. He also is the Stormtrooper who fell into the chasm on the Death Star when Luke and Leia swing across. I believe he is in the armour on the card. He sadly too is no longer with us.

Hardest I think would be the DSC. No idea who the actor was.

Try Officialpix.com. They have so many cool signed photos including an exclusive HF one.

Thats what i meant mate.unless he wants a Bridge on the River kwai pic in front of an Obi figure :D A signed SW pic you are looking at £200-£300 minimum, unless you get lucky.

Jawa could be a nice multi signed piece too, however stay away from anything with Hal Walmsley's name on it.He is a fake. You could get Goffe as CS said, plus Peter Diamonds sons,Frazer and Warwick aswell as Gary kurtz's daughters-they all played Jawas.

Official Pix are a good source, but vastly overpriced-especially on Ford. You can pick up Fisher and Hamills for half of what they are on there, and could get Baker,Daniels,Mayhew and Prowse at cons for £15-£25.

cool! mr bronson was a legend ,a great signature to have but even more so now .rip

Hi guys many thanks for the autograph info, I have real issues with autographs I just cant believe in them I certainly couldn't pay massive sums for something i couldn't authenticate. But I might have to have a look at who I can get at this years conventions and see if I can add a few to my new area of collecting.
