I was back home visiting my parents this weekend and had a few hours to myself so this morning decided to go and check out Wimborne Market in Dorset. I used to go pretty much every weekend in the mid 90s and got loads of decent stuff back then - MOCs, boxed vehicles etc. I hadn't been for over 10 years so wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised :)

First up, this stall is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago. He doesn't have much vintage any more, you can probably spot a few loose figures in bags, but he used to have a decent selection of MOCs, all pinned to the shelves like the modern stuff is now! Nothing worth getting excited over but it was good to see the same guy was still running it all these years later.

Next up is a new (to me) stall, he had a decent selection of modern stuff and as you can see here a box full of loose vintage figures, and a Han blaster.

Sadly the other main stall I used to visit and got some boxed vehicles from seems to have gone. But if anybody is ever in the area it's worth a look, there are at least a few stalls with some vintage and the prices were reasonable (around £10 for most of the loose complete figures.)

Great photo's and what a nice way to spend a sunday morning. :)

Sounds like it was nostalgic as well.

I used to frequent Wimborne in the early 90's, a mate of mine was at Uni down there and we'd pile down for weekends, great memories.

There was a collector shop that had opened up in the village and sold loads of vintage, I was trading at the time and got to know the owner, we bought and sold several things over time and I'll never forget the time he phoned me to say he'd just bought over 1000 carded figures for 25p each from a guy who owned a local cinema that had been closed down. Wished I'd kept the list now but most of it was tri-logo and Jedi stuff but I remember there being some rare stuff - what a find.

My mate who was at Uni there used to run the stall at the market for him at the weekends and he would tell me about some of the stuff that people used to bring him to sell, lofts full of boxed stuff!
