Got a load of watchers on one of my BIN with best offer listings...

why?

Sorry, crap question I know but I dont understand what I need to do to get one to have a nibble! :)

I watch items that I am also selling to see what prices they go for. I also watch items that I need and see if they sell, you also then get a notice saying whether the item has been relisted and can see if has come down in price

I guess people also might be waiting for funds to be available before they pull the trigger

Some people are often interested in seeing if items they own sell at the prices other people list them at, they watch them to keep track of them in their ebay account page.

Can be that someone wants to see how long it goes unsold for and then send you a cheeky offer under your BIN price too :)

Stop it Iain

Going to rename the ebay section - Iain's playground lol

All my stuff is BIN. I have watchers on everything. And i watch stuff that is BIN. Sometimes it's because i plan to buy it at some point. Obviously if i see something on ebay and want it but don't have money for it right now... *WATCH*... probably do this about 10 times a day.
I used to worry about how many watchers i had on each item but i don't any more. Some items have 10 watchers and sell very slowly. Others have 1 watcher and sell like hot-cakes. All that matters at the end of the month is what sold and what didn't. Things that keep not selling have to be reduced in price.

I use it as a means of gauging the market sometimes before making a purchase.

My watch list is pretty much always up around the 150 mark, clearly i like to watch too :D

Yes I just put loads and loads of Lots of Coins for my dad when he gets home from work and on my other account its regulary full of SW stuff

Seconded

I watch tons of stuff, to see if they get offers, to wait until they lower it a bit, or to compare to stuff that i am gonna list.
