Why are there ton's of meccano jawa mocs but no other figure

Does anybody know why there are ton's of the square card meccano Jawa MOC's yet any other figure on that card is rare and very hard to find?

i believe that there were boxes of them left unsold and then later discovered in some warehouse!

From what I understand, the jawas were one of the last released figures for the Meccano 12 Backs. I "guess" they were carried over from the 12 Backs to the 20 Backs. I believe Leia, Death Squad Commander and Ben and common on Meccano 20 Backs. Not as easy as Jawas, but not hard to track down..

Yeah I have heard of that resealed one before...but I have also heard that there may be vinyl ones that did make it to that card.

Ive never heard of or seen a VC jawa on a meccano card, only star wars and ESB. if i did i would think 100% it was a fake.

If they had put a genuine VC Jawa on that card instead of cut down ben cape then it would have fooled eveyone. Imagine if that had happened the attached price tag would be off the chart.

Yes..That would have probably worked out better for them to use the real thing. I have seen a Red cape carded bib before that would fool just about anybody.
