Hi there... I have just joined these boards. I have been lurking around for a couple of months now and figured it was about time i joined and introduced myself.

Well my name is Pete, i am 40 years old and i live on the south east coast of England.

Been collecting vintage on and off since i first went to see Star wars in 1978..

I have a complete set of loose figures with some variations and some boxed vehicles.

My main focus now is to aquire a complete set of figures MOC. I have about 40...

Anyway enough of me, just wanted to say Hello.....

I will get some pics up asap.

Since completing my loose set i am focusing on getting a full set of vintage figures on cards.

As i am on a budget, they will mainly be Jedi cards. I try and buy the best condition cards i can.

Most of the carded figures i own have issues like creasing ,yellow bubbles slight wear etc.They all display nicely though.I am more than happy with this set up as it enables me to not spend fortunes, but still have minty figures unopened on their original card.
 
hey guys! havent been on for bloody ages!! How is everyone??
I see there is a lot of newbies on here now 8)

ive been out of the collecting for some time because of

1. lack of cash
2. I completed my almost mint loose collection and didnt know what to do with my self!

I might pursue something a bit cheaper than that!! Ive always liked the idea of having all the mini rigs boxed

Then again i did start to collect the ewoks cartoon line of figures maybe i should start that again?
what do u reckon?
 
yes thats right i was collicting them at the same time as u(think we bid on the same item a few times )anyway i say yes get all the ewoks then the droids ,ive got them all now except sise fromm and i am very happy with them they look mint

I have lady and king gorneesh and wicket at the moment. If i remember rightly it was a dulok scout u outbid me for?? :lol: :lol: :lol:
