Name's Andy. Born in 75' and was bang into the films and the toys in the early 80's. About 7 years ago an old friend gave me a SW Han and a Chewy. This got me interested in vintage figures again so I did a bit of research and checked out eBay and rebelscum etc. Started to buy a few figures, didn't have a clue what I was doing. Over the last 6 years I've learnt and am still learning what it's all about and I'm gradually collecting a set of mint vintage loose figures. Collect ROTJ carded figures, vehicles and any other vintage stuff I like, loose and boxed. Also have some modern carded figures and ships and I'm getting into props, weapons and helmets etc. I wanted to come on here to hopefully meet some decent SW enthusiasts/collectors to buy from, sell to, learn from and discuss with. From what I've seen so far it looks like a good resource with people who actually know what they're talking about! Looking forward to getting involved :)

Hey Rob! Welcome You have certainly come to the right place! Enjoy :)

Hi all. My name is John, I'm 40ish and live in Ireland. If I'm honest I'm just here to see if anyone is interested in buying my collection of loose figures. I toyed with the idea of collecting but as I have enough other collections I've decide to clear out my old toys. I even promise to offer them here first and not go near ebay! I'll post my stuff in the valuations board soon.

Hello,

Names Ryan been collecting Star Wars since after Special Edition was released but am only collecting vintage these days. Started a carded Star Wars run and a General Madine character focus. Most of my vintage is ROTJ but do have other pieces from both SW and ESB, also a mix of US, Canadian, and Trilogo's. Looking forward to being apart of another great Star Wars site.

Hi John, welcome to the forum. I think there is a big chance that some of us will buy your collection  Good luck with the sale :D

Just wanted to hi, been out of the collecting game for a while now but looking to get back in again, cheers Barry from Northumberland

Name is Paul. Currently live on the East Coast of the US, moving on in less than a year. From the East Coast not from collecting

Hi all. My name's Paul, I'm 41 (how the hell did that happen?!) and I live in West Yorkshire, UK, with one wife and no kids. I started (re)collecting SW figures in the mid 90s and managed to purchase a number of MOCs and loose figures. I stopped collecting in the late 90s as I got back into my other interest, Doctor Who, though I kept most of the SW stuff I had. I'm now looking to get back into SW Vintage collecting.

I'm not sure which way my collecting will go, but I'm currently looking for a first-issue ESB carded figure so that I've got one of each card front (ie, SW, ESB, ROJ, Tri-logo, POTF). We'll see how it goes from there!

Steve from kings Lynn 43 married two kids cheers for the add my mum kept all my loose figures from 70s/80s and since my kids are now into star wars we've started collecting again I'll pop some pics up anyhow look forward to joining in on the forum

Hi all I'm Darren from London

Been lurking as a guest for a couple of months now after listening to the SWFUK PODCAST. Love the podcast and now have decided to get involved on the forum.

I collect but not at a huge rate as don't have the funds.
I collect modern and vintage but only stormtroopers, Biker Scouts,
and other imperial characters, it's my main love. When I say I collect modern I don't mean from the new films I mean I just like some of the figures released for the original trilogy.

Looking forward to getting involved.

wassup guys :)

Hi guys, Matt from London here. I'm 32 so missed the peak time as a kid but do have vivid memories of Star Wars stuff in the shops. Think I was getting into it when others were getting bored of it so I inherited a fair bit of my collection from older friends. Recently decided to finally complete my childhood collection of loose figures!
