Welcome Jon, Simen, Debs & Fisto

Welcome Lars, I just bought not very minty MOCs just 10 mins back (at 20 GBP each they are brilliant). I am a newbie and a budget collector and have found really good deals and trustworthy guys on this forum. I have been on the repro path for a short while but it's not worth it.

Hi all

I'm new here, from Twickenham, Middlesex

Been watching Toy Hunter on Sky and has got me thinking about my old Star Wars toys again

My old vintage Star Wars toys have been up in the loft over 20 years so i'm planning on going up there soon and having a look

I was the sort of child that really took care of my toys so hopefully they are all still in good condition

My main hobby is American cars, I have 2 Dodge Challengers and a Mustang so i'm not really looking into getting into serious collecting again but i'd like to maybe complete the last 17, from memory I have, Luke Stormtrooper, Anakin, Imperial Dignitary, Han Carbonite and a few others maybe

I will try and take some pictures if I get them down

By the way, one thing that always bothered me when going to Toy Fairs and boot sales, what causes the white figures to yellow ? Is it simply just displaying them in the sun or are there other reasons ?

Also have tried to send a PM on here but can't find the option in someone's profile, any ideas?

Thanks

Justin

Yellowing is ageing and there's nothing that can be done. Obviously being in the sun will cause it to yellow quicker.

I'd imagine you can't PM yet as a mod needs to approve you. There'll be a button in the top right hand corner.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi Justin, welcome to this amazing forum :D

Sounds like some cool figures you have from your childhood, I hope we will see some pictures

Maybe this 2 threads can help about yellowing

Thanks guys, so i'm assuming if it's ageing when they are still in the bubble on the card they still go yellow ?

Hi all I've been a life long fan of anything Star Wars and recently dug out a couple of son post helmets and a 1978 press kit which made me think about getting into collecting on a bigger scale.
