Hi guys, not really collected for a while now, kids took over! Started collecting at 6th form college 23yrs ago! Went round asking everyone if they had anything and ended up with silly amounts, boxed cardboard death star for a can of coke was a highlight . 2004 and 2 rooms taken up with it I sold the lot, loose and carded figures all went as one and everything else, ships etc... went to a guy in Belgium in the biggest box ever and cost nearly £200 in postage!
Fast forward to today and all I've got is a shoe box full of loose figures. I do have a garage full of 80's bmx's and other toys though
I'm new to this forum, my good friend Tim (Sompeetalay) directed me here.

Have been collecting Star Wars figures and books since I was ten, but was born AFTER the vintage era...
I've recently started my vintage collection, because I needed a new challenge (Hasbro has been doing nothing for the past year, but give us boring figures and lame repacsk). I somehow never bothered with these before, but now that I have a couple, I must admit... I'm hooked!
Welcome to SWFUK Rob. Sorry to see you're from Tamworth... You can't win them all! only kidding. I'm from just down the road in Sutton Coldfield.
If you interesting there's a lovely vintage collection AT-AT in the Tamworth toys'r'us at the moment.
I've introduced myself to some of you guys already, but not officially on this thread... and I do like to try and do things properly
I've been on here for 10 days now, and I've had a great time... and I'm sure I will continue to do so- great forum with an astounding wealth of knowledge amongst you. Love it

Clearing all old boxes outta my loft and come across several boxes of old toys including one stuffed with Star Wars figures dated 1977-1984. I don't have the room to keep them but not sure where or how to sell them would like some advice please
Hi ThunderStorm, a good place to start would be to take pics of your stuff and post in the Vintage Valuation Thread, we will be able to give you a better idea of what you have
