Know those areas fairly well. My daughter is bouncing between Peterlee (shopping centre is out of the 80s!) College and Houghall East Durham. I work at a school right in the middle of Durham and it's a very nice area there. :D
 
Thanks for the welcome guys :) and yes I'll get pics up as soon as I get them... I'm waiting for a few more things to turn up at my "myus" address in the US to save on shipping.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but a couple of weeks ago I was actually contemplating getting some "vintage" cardbacks from that costablanca guy on ebay.... something stopped me though. Looking at your forum I'm really pleased I didn't get them. Much better to hold out for the real thing :wink:

:lol: unfortunately not actually still in the 80's... Peterlee had a couple of great toy shops (long since gone) where some of my very best SW toys were bought. As did Durham. If we only knew then...
 
Hi All, Finally decided to join up having been mooching around the forum for a while now. This is a great place for information, some really knowledgeable people on here.

Have started collecting again, but going to have to be loose figures to start with as 12 back MOC's appear to be selling for mega money these days. But I don't mind that as I'm only collecting for nostalgia anyway, plus I spend silly money expensive on bicycles and my wife would probably throw me out if I start buying expensive Star Wars collectable too!

Long time forum moocher and first time posting :eek:
I'm Damien and I'm from Dublin. I don't have a huge fancy collection to boost about, a few MOC's, a few MISB, a couple of Die Cast MOC's, Loose figures and a few graded loosies.
My collection is based on the baddies :) Vader and Stormtroopers for the moment but always watch out for keenly priced Imperial items that would suit my collection.
I'm sending some items to be graded so when they return I'll get some pictures up.
 
Hey Guys.

I'm Ryan, i'm 23, been collecting since I was four (when I first saw a return of the jedi annual on a car boot sale, and bought it!) I collect vintage star wars stuff. I have a fair amount of ships I would be willing to trade in the next few months, as I am struggling musician and a lodger and don't have the room for lots of ships and musical equipment!

I don't have anything really brag about in my collection, my favourite items are probably a vintage Dianoga from the vintage death star set, and my signed copies of Ewoks Battle for Endor video, and Ewok adventures dvd, signed by Warrick Davis when I met him.

Anyhow, many thanks for having me, hope to make some new pals!
