Hi everyone, i've been stalking these boards for a while as well as RS and IG and thought it was about time i introduced myself.
My name is Neil and i have been collecting for 30 years and have over 1000 MOC inc DT Luke,Vader and Ben as well as VC jawa - HA HA ONLY JOKIN LoL.
I only started vintage collecting a few months ago and have the smallest collection ever. I am focusing on nr mint loose figures and im very fussy on certain figures. im not that interested on varients except for the obvious orange/brown snake Yoda, Hair colour etc.
When I was a snotty nosed brat back in the day I had hundreds of star war figures inc all the vehicles and play sets, i was obsessed!!! Then one day my voice broke and i started to get interested in girls, so my toys were packed away and placed in the loft.Some years later mydear old Mum had a clear out and my star wars were donated to a local play group AAARRRGH!! There were only 10 survivors which i still have now.
One of my mates is a vintage toy collector and he recently sparked my interest and ive been obsessed ever since. Most of my mates think im mad and just dont get it!!!
I only have approx 45 figures at mo but are all in mint condition all with original weapons (I HATE REPROS) They are not displayed yet , but im trying to worm my way past the wife to get a display case.
I also love other vintage toys but mainly star wars

Well thats War and Peace over with.

LOL ....yeah ive earned that name since school, and boy have i lived up to it!!!
calmed down now, but still a little mad.
Just getting myself psyched for the semi-final tomorrow, im a big Liverpool supporter so pretty nervous, just cant lose to the blue boys.
I work away alot so hope to get on the forum as much as poss :)

Hi Plantman nice to know someone on this forum has been suffering like me this season!

On a SW note hopefully i'll be able to take some photos of my collection and limelight them soon

East London (Redbridge/Ilford). Had my teenage years here, moved away then moved back. Where you at, local?

I've always loved vintage since I grew up with it. I'm always looking for a good bargain, especially carded figs.
