Welcome to the Board Stevie :)

I am itching to ask you are you a red or a blue or dont you have any interest at all in football mate?

I'm a red but definitely not of the Manchester variety!

Welcome onboard Steve. Once you've been on a while you'll see why you didn't get the warmest welcome. We do get a lot of people who just join post links and disappear. After the 357th it gets a tad monotonous.
If you're happy to stick about and joing in the banter/abuse you won't get any more grief.

Hello,

I joined as I recently found a collection of 70's/80's Star Wars figures which had been in storage for 15 to 20 years while clearing out my old bedroom. I put the whole collection on ebay but with-in hours I had a load of emails asking me to sell just the 'camel head guy' / 'brown droid' / 'bear with bow' or offing £20-£100 for the whole lot (for there son of course), so I pulled the auction to better research what it is I have.

This is a great resource!

Hi there

You have come to the right place - I'm betting the Camel head guy is Yak Face (worth £50-£60), the brown droid is EV 9D9 (worth £30-£45) and the bear with the bow is either Lumat (worth £15-£20) or Warok (worth £20-£25)

Get some pictures up and I am sure we can give you some values - you should also be able to sell it on here as well - avoiding those ebay fees !

Cheers
Iain

Thanks for the welcome, your right with the figure guesses. I've not taken it down yet but I plan to and list everything individually.

You probably want to move over to the valuation thread

I saw this listing earlier and have it on my watch list - you have a few nice items but I wouldnt bother listing them all individually as you have some 'well played with' figures in there too

Hi Fellas

I'm not exactly new here but I haven't posted or really been on here now for over a year but I've decided I'm going to start posting again. I remember some of you from last time around and i also know quite a few of you from TIG and through the FS section on here so I think its only fair since I've been lurking here now for a few weeks.

My main interest is loose variants but there's so many great SW items out there I've not been able to stop myself buying loads of cool items.

Same same. Still a frick.
All good here mate. School holidays, so I have all 3 boys building an interconnecting cubby-house out of the furniture at the moment.

Hi everyone , I'm Stephen , recently found my old star wars toys from child hood and forgot how great they were!! anyway have been lurking on here for about a week trying to learn as much as i can from my new found obsession , but quickly realised there's a hell of alot more to collecting star wars figures than I realised.

My aim at the moment is to start slowly and collect the loose figures first and see were it goes!! ( quite far from what i can tell from the collections of some members!!).

Thanks for the welcomes guys and Stephen I think we all planed on taking it easy and starting off slow but it soon takes over lol

Hi all, here is my introduction post,

My name is Junior Chubb, I have been collecting since my family home was sold and me and my brother had to do the house clearing and found our old vintage vehicles, always been a Star Wars fan but this triggered my vintage collecting (sounds like an AA introduction).

I have decided to sign up to help myself gain knowledge in repro accessories and other fakes. I am confident with 80% of my collection but I want to weed out any repros (and want to be educated in case I get into collecting carded figures), from a few weeks lurking you guys seem to be on the ball.

Looking forward to posting and seeing who is in my area (East London/Essex)...
