Same here mate, i remember watching Eps 4 on Betamax, waiting for ESB to get released on video and cueing to watch ROTJ at the cinema. Had a reasonable collection, flogged them all for £20 for my first car fund.

Just wanted to tell you that I got my first figure back from AFA this week. I have had a carded palitoy bossk in my cupboard for years. Sent it off and really thrilled to get it back scoring a 90
Now i have the bug for more !!
Apologies if i have posted this in the wrong room. I am sure that in time i will find my way around here.
Your posts on here are priceless and i hope i can lean on you guys for info as i collect

When you say the Bossk got a 90 from AFA..... is he still attached to the card? If so then huge congrats there mate as that must look brilliant - get a photo of him up asap :wink:

Hi everyone. after years of nagging i finaly convinced my gf to watch star wars, and since shes become a star wars nut like myself. about a month back i was at a car boot sale and managed to find a small bundle of figures, so she has also started a collection which has given me the buzz i had as a kid getting my collection together.
i still need a few items for my collection and would be looking to do some trading, but i dont want to come out of nowhere selling things id rather you guys get to know me a bit first

sorry im in work and did try looking for an introduction but only have a few mins between customers ( took me almost an hour to write the first post ). i will get some photos taken tonight ( and upload them into the correct thread :idea: )

Hi guys, just a quick intro,
Neil, 33, just getting my son into the vintage stuff so no areas of focus yet. just trying to get together some kind of collection. All advice kindly recieved. I've never been part of a forum before so looking foward to this.
