just wanted to introduce my self tell you a bit about me my names mike from the north west i was always big in to collecting star wars when i was younger (im 30 now). I was always on or off with my collecting a lot of the time i would just get the bug out of no were for a while then it would go as sudden as it came. I was big in to the collecting and displays side as a kid i was never in to playing with them more looking at them. As a kid i had a copy of tomarts star wars collectibles or something along those lines and concept to screen i think it was called (black/gold cover) so i was pretty clued up for a kid you got to remember there was no internet back then. Anyway to cut a long story short when i was 20 or so i sold all of my figures and ships for £200 i was young and stupid they had been sitting in the loft for years and i had holes in my trainers so like a idiot i sold years of collecting for a pair of reebok classics and a henri lloyd stripey t shirt (to be young again hahaha) anyway it was something i always regretted doing. About 3 or 4 weeks ago empire strikes back was on the box after watching it i had the urge to get on ebay and see what was out there star wars wise contemplating buying some figures and taking it from there i found my self looking more and more on ebay after looking on google for toy fairs and finding one in my area i decided i would go along and have a look. What star wars was there was junk but i did bump in to this fella i knew from a child who i use to by my star wars off he gave me his card and said email what i want! i did and he said a lot of the figures i wanted were tied up in sets i asked how much for a set he said £950 for 96 figures mint/n mint i phoned him and arranged to meet him the following day feeling a bit dubious with him being a toy dealer i went along and true to his word they were all mostly in cracking condition and complete so we settled on £900 and i am really happy with them theirs a thew i need to up grade but that's ok theirs a lot to be said for collecting slowly which was the only down side to buying in bulk its just not as much fun but at the same time im not the most patient of people.

My aim is to get a mint near mint full set (loose) that i am 100% happy with i am quite meticulous. Then hopefully get a tidy blue snaggletooth and then some of the more major variations trilogo boba, small head han, hollow cheek TR, orange snake yoda, and so on.

Ive just brought a sy snootles band the box is mint but opened and the figures/accessories are sealed in the bags it was not as cheep as i would like but im happy with it i will post some pics of the band and when i am happy with the figures will post some pics of them.

I would like to thank Chris(Caswellbot) for some of my upgrades and some sound advice. cheers mate!

I am sorry about the long read but if a jobs worth doing and all that! its good to be here and im sure i will be picking some of your brains soon.

Hi Mike, Welcome to the forum, I'm mainly a loose collector myself though starting to branch out a little now. I look forward to seeing your collection :D

i am 38 tears young lol

and due to massive pressure from the dark side (the Wife)
i am having to sell my star wars figures etc

not happy but kids and other issues have not helped (doh)

still love star wars and the like and have tried to get my son onboard but alass his intrest lay with Dr Who
still i know how he must feel as i was prob the sam at his age with star wars
