Hey guys, I'm new here. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a long time Star Wars fan, always loved the vintage figures, but I'm a new collector to the old Kenner toys. I only have vintage figures, actually. 3 in front of me, 1 missing and 2 on the way to me in the post. All 6 of them are;

- ESB Artoo
- General Madine
- AT-ST Driver
- Rebel Commando
- Darth Vader
- Boba Fett

The first three of which I were given by relatives who originally bought them back in their time. The last three are the first that I have bought with my own money, marking the beginning of my collection!

I hope to get most of the vintage line, but my biggest collecting ambition is to acquire all of the final 17. No, it won't be cheap at all, but if I take my time I should be able to get all of them.

See you around the forum! :D

Welcome on board.

You should have no problem finding help on here to complete your collection

In fact i have 3 of the last 17 spare

You should put a list of what you need in the wanted section. You'll probably find that people will have most of what you need and do you a good deal. Many of us on here have been helped out by other members.

Great! I will do in a bit then. :)

Hello, I am Peter from Hungary, 32 years old. I started to collect vintage Star Wars 2 years ago. I had the luck to win some money on betting :D and after that one day I went to the local shop where I bought 2-3 figures (MOC) just to feel what it was like for me in the 80s. It was a fantastic feeling so I went on and on. Now I have 42 carded figures from which I like the trilogos most...

Welcome to the forum Peter.
I'm also 32, called Peter and into tri logos... spooky. :o
Would love to see pictures of your collection.

Pete.

Hello,
but you are not from Hungary, are you? :D

I'll try to post some pictures but I have serious technical problems here. I have 10 Trilogos but I hope to get much more. My favourites are a Trilogo Kenobi and a Trilogo Lobot figure...

Szia peter!

Welcome :) (I am a neighbour of yours - Romania :) )

Not as good as in Hungary!

I live in Nagyvárad and sometimes we come over (so close)

I once went looking for Hungarian bootlegs in Budapest, I found nothing

I had lots of Hungarian bootleg stuff but I sold them for vintage MOC figures. They broke all the time when I touched them anyway...

Well, they can bring some good money - I was hoping I could find a box of them there and finance the rest of my collection with it but I never did haha.

I have no real love for bootlegs either ;)

I hope you got a nice price for them when you sold them

Now it came to my mind that a friend of mine had some Hungarian bootleg figures on card in a used marketplace a couple of months ago. He had prices like 25 dollars for each or so.

You should have bought them ;)

(Ok its a bit over priced but they are at least worth a few hundred bucks each)
