Yes unfortunately I spend 4 hours every day on the train! I'm going to get one of those mobile broadband things soon though, so that will keep me busy

Edd that is a hell off a long time to spend on a train each day
I live in Hampshire and i tell you now you are better off on the train. The roads are horrendous.

Whats the best or oldest thing you have found spoons during a dig

Old doesn't really come into it for me, as my preferred sites are Saxon and medieval. But I've found Mesolithic flints, which can be up to 10,000 years old.

The most exotic site was a buried Roman city in Turkey, where one of the odder finds was a large piece of masonry with a knob carved onto one side - people don't change

It's not very exciting really, most of my work involves digging up old field boundaries.

Ed's probably best off explaining, but at least half his collection was taken. I don't think any of it has surfaced yet

Hey Guys...

Name: Mark
Age: 34 and three quarters
Single/Married: Married
Residence: Dublin
Occupation: CAD Monkey
Kids: None yet
Pets: None
Collecting Focus: Vintage loose in nice condition.
Character Focus: None

Collecting interest: Trying to get back what I sold (like a schmuck) when I was a kid.

Looking For: Lots of holes in collection. No Repros.

I got the bug again when I took all the stuff I still had down from the attic and cleaned it up. Some were in a terrible state, but I managed to clean up the stuff worth keeping. Of course most of the weapons were lost. Found out what a colossal pain in the tits it was trying to buy up single weapons off ebay, but I feel that I want to keep the figures I had as a kid, rather than buy new complete ones (even though it'd be far easier). But I'm nearly there. Still had 4 of last 17 in great condition, but I'm sick thinking I had nearly all of them back in the day.
Nice forum you've got here.
