Who's in the right??

I'm with Jabba on this one 8)

A neg feedback and slap on wrist from ebay is alot better than being Ã'£200 down!

Just doesn't add up to me :?

Sounds risky to me too.

Just explain that you are pulling out because his auction details were inaccurate and that in light of that you hope he won't leave a negative.

I doubt that he'd want to get a negative back from you as it really affects sellers with low feedbacks so he probably won't leave any.

just tell him to **** off the dirty german bastard

go on i dare you ,you will be my hero.

if you want i will email him and ask about payment on one of his other auctions and see what he says

just sent him this

hi there
i am looking at some of your auctions (star wars )
and was wondering is there anychance of agreeing on some other form of payment.
what with you being in germany and having low feedback i would like a bit more insurance as i expect the price of the auction i am looking at to go over Ã'£100
many thanks
john

if he is that new to ebay and honest surely he wil be willing to sort something out

Its certainly not worth the risk imo, if hes saying that he won't accept paypal from outside of Europe and refuses your payapl money then hes just talking bollocks and contradicting himself. I would refuse to pay going on what he has put in his listing and agree with the rest and take the slap on the wrist but inform ebay.

Dirty Kraut :)

That's a weird one, I dont for a second believe all that shite about his "lawyer" being involved, he just doesn't want to have to pay PayPal fees. Still don't get why he won't let you pay by PP if your offering to cover their fees though :?

No idea what the **** I'd do, it is a risk sending the bankers draft, I guess it depends how much you want the MOC's.

Cheers for the input guys :)

They arn't giving me an option of paying by bankers draft in my contact with them, just by bank transfer :?

I sent a message this morning asking if bankers draft was an option as it is covered upto Ã'£105 by ebay. If they say no can get out of non paying bidder strike as they are not accepting payment type it says they would

Not resorted to the racist abuse yet

I think the figures are worth the money but not prepared to take the risk to get them :!:

i also won one of his lots, and got the same reply (won't accept paypal from uk  )

i think i will probably just send the bank transfer like he's asked. to be honest i have very little faith in paypal anyway, if somebody wants to stitch you up all they have to do is empty their paypal account. their "buyer protection" isn't worth a wank.

i really need one of the figures in the lots, and i got it so cheap it's worth the risk IMO. a few well known dealers have also won his items so he can't be a known scammer.

I've said it before but you should all leave it, this bloke isn't allowing payment when his listings say paypal is ok.

It's the perfect excuse not to pay. Any negs should get removed.

Check out his lot with the Han hoth and biker scout, there is no way that BS hasn't been repaired but he said it was just a poor photo

actually guys, sorry to disagree but that biker scout is legit. it hasn't been repaired - it just has a sticker with the new catalogue number on it. look at this other auction of his:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140124643648&indexURL=0&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting

the b wing pilot has the same sticker. so it's cool ;)

I never knew that, I should have bid more

if anyone ever sees a luke bespin with the same sticker, please let me know

WARNING!

DO NOT send this guy any money! i asked to see more photos, and he sent me close up photos of completely different figures to those in the auction. he's full of ****, i'm not sending any money unless he can prove he has the actual photos pictured in the auction.

:(

Think he's given up on me :D

asked for photos of the figs I won and have received nothing

Will keep you all updated 8)

he is still in contact with me and adament he has them all. he's going to take proper photos tonight apparently.

Whats the latest guys - he's just offered me a second chance offer - should I take it????

I've not heard a thing from him since a week last monday no picures at all!!

I think he's a piss taker and would stay to steer clear

Last 3 sets of figs that he sold went to german bidders that left instant feedback
