I went there the other week with some loose doubles i had picked up that i wanted to move on, i said to the bloke behind the counter that i wanted to sell these on and i understand you buy and sell vintage toys, he looked at them and said "these are something we're not really interested in and its not the type of thing we sell" i then replied "what are you on about mate? youve got about 10 loose figures in one of your cabinets by the door (massively overpriced aswell) so you do sell them??"
he then replies after looking a bit stupid "oh yeah well there really isnt a market for those so once those have gone we wont be selling them anymore"

idiots!

I went there a few weeks ago and I saw a few loosies. There was a tautaun without any accessories selling for around 20 pounds!

Funny because I went to a vintage toy shop in Manhattan last April and the guy there also told me there is no market for vintage SW so the owner doesn't keep them on display but has them locked away in the warehouse, including his popys!!!!

This is the store I was talking about (yes yes I'm spamming my blog).
