How the hell does a head fall off when its in a baggie and sealed in an acrylic case?

I think the problem is the figure is quite loose in the case, It needs to be a tighter fit.
I wonder if the plastic went brittle during the flight and had a sharp impact causing the head to snap :?

Bloody shame because its a minty looking figure :roll:
