I bought tons from toy shop in the early/Mid 90's (Before Ebay existed). I remember all the great phone auctions, you really never new if you were bidding against someone or if the seller was making up the bidders and the increases.

By the late 80s and early 90s i just wasn't interested in Star Wars toys anymore but it annoys me when i think of all the times i was in Woolworths buying CDs or VHSs [literally worthless commodities] standing in the queue completely ignoring the basket of Trilogo Yak Faces and Luke Stormtroopers for £1.99... wish i could go back and have a word with my former self.
