Who loves POTF?! + your top five POTF figures?

I was going through my figures earlier and damn the POTF line is awesome, the colours , the sculpts and even the playability of most of those figures is great!

Thought it would be fun for people to take part in this ...

Top five POTF figures? with reasons if you want!

5. R2 Pop up - I can't believe I still need one of these as I sold my last one to upgrade..it ****ing fires!
4. Amanaman - Just because it is an awesomely huge and colourful character and his staff has skulls on it!
3. All of the ewoks (sorry ) I just think they were well made and cool for army building
2. Anakin - Not really a playable figure but I think its a very good likeness to the original actor
1. Luke Stormtrooper - I don't have to give a reason!

Worst figure in the line :

Although it looks cool, I don't like Han in carbonite, he doesn't have a gun of his own and there aren't too many things you can do with his block...

Figures you WISH they had made for POTF :

Gotta be Han in Stormtrooper disguise...

I actually really like the Imperial Dignitary, great colours and the robed figures are always nicely sculpted which is why I have Anakin in my list.

What I find great about POTF figs is the evolution

Put a original 12 figure e.g vader r Luke Farmboy next to a POTF2 figure then put Barada in the middle of them and you can really see the style transition.

Everyone loves that Luke Stormtrooper figure! I used to chuck mine all over the place, was a great figure for a kid!

I agree with you Joe. Kenner really went out with a bang. It is too bad that the majority had lost interest in Star Wars by then. It would have been great to see some of the proposed later figures would have looked past the concept drawing stage.

My top 5 POTF figures would have to be

1. Luke Stormtrooper
2. R2-D2 Pop Up
3. Imperial Gunner
4. Anakin
5. Amanaman

Most boring figure as a kid would go to

Although now I do think the colors on the figure really make him stand out.

Definitely agree with you there, I think another attraction is that in good condition they display really well!

When I look at a loose set my eyes always fly straight to the Last 17 shelf.

All they are good for is cannon fodder!

If there was a list of figures that Kenner shouldn't have bothered making the first load would be ALL the Ewoks!

as a kid I thought he did nothing, I think i sold all my toys not long after getting one

I wasn't aware that most of the figures existed until I started collecting, but the Imperial gunner is the best, followed by Anamanamanananan, Barada, Lando General and luke endor

I've never really liked the Luke Stormie and Han Carb sculpts and I think that R2 should actually fire that sabre instead of moving it up really slowly :wink:

I'm with Weasel when it comes to Ewoks :evil:
