white tie fighter boxed with palitoy sticker!

Hi guys. Whilst at sandown toy fair yesterday I came across potentially rather rare peculiarity. Despite being skin I felt compelled to buy it. I have never seen this before.

It is a boxed white tie fighter. Complete with inserts and palitoy instructions.

Now for the strange part. This appears to be a kenner star wars box but it has a palitoy sticker placed over the Kenner logo on one side. I simply don't know what to make of this. I have no doubt that this is all original.

Please help with any info. Has anyone seen one before?

Yes, I own one too. Really nice find buddy as they are pretty rare and above all pretty cool. I think Andy (spoons) and Marc (theguiltyone)own one too.

As there was never a first issue Palitoy box for the tiefighter...the sticker was applied. I really need one. Awesome piece.

Nice piece, how was that toy fair? Was there a lot of stuff there? How were the prices?
It's not a million miles away for me to get to and if they have another one any time soon i may go down.

Hey Pete yeah sorry about that. Yeah they are pretty big. My internet is down so I'm going from my phone at the moment. The fair was ok not great. There was a bit of star wars but not much. Rich (hulk17) had a stall with some lovely boxed items. A really nice guy too I would like to add. as for the prices, I definitely think it helps if you know one or two of the dealers. They are more likely to cut you a deal then. I've been going for a while now so I'm starting get to know a few of them.

Todd: this will be sold in the near future so I will bear you in mind. I have one potential interested party right now but if it turns out that they don't take it, are you interested?
