Where are they now?: The Actual Screen-used R2-D2 Movie Props

Being a diehard fan, I've always been interested to know what's become of the many versions of the famous blue astromech droid, primarily from ANH.
Had they been thrown away? Are they stored at Lucasfilm archives? Anyone know?
I'm particularly interested in the battle-damaged R2.

i'm guessing Lucasfilm must have them at the archive, as well as the other movie versions, be interesting to see if they survived and what condition they are in
