What's your collecting targets for 2015.

Is it too late to add my collecting goals? I wasn't actually (re)collecting until March, so hopefully not!

I originally thought I'd go for a run of the first 12 figures on Palitoy cards, but that has been thrown into a bit of flux with higher prices and greater supply, so I'm going to wait and see if it settles down.

What I would like to do, is have at least 1 of each of the major 12 back card front variations by the end of the year. So, I think I need:

Palitoy
Kenner
Kenner Canada GDE
Harbert
Meccano
Clipper
Takara
Toltoys

and then perhaps Meccano 20bk, Kenner Secret figure offer and Kenner Boba Fett offer.

Toltoys and GDE will be the realy buggers to find by the looks of things so far!

This is pretty much my long term aim but due to current prices I would be happy to add just 1 this year!

For almost 20 years now I have been collecting and never ever been happy with what i have, sell it and regret it, over and over, guess i get bored real easy, up until now that is. For the first time ever i am completely content and nothing i really want or need.

Defo going to buy a few force awaken figures though.

Ok New year coming up and all that I always have unrealistic targets, but if I get close my thinking is it pushes me to collect more, this year it was to finish debut 77 backs I think I needed about 6, only need the emperor now and I also aquired a couple other MOC's, so not to bad.

So for 2015 my target is to finish the debut 77 backs. :lol: Also the debut 20 backs, only have Luke x-wing and Hammerhead so far. :?

Anyone else have any targets?

Thought it might be interesting to see how everyone has got on, looking back on your targets. I have failed but considering the price of certain items I'm after I've not done two bad only need 2 Kenner debut 20 backs, Power Droid and Walrusman. Still need the Emperor on a 77 back though. :?

As many ESB mocs as possible (esb figs on esb cards), hopefully Palitoy. Leia Bespin is priority

Didn't do too badly!

Managed to get Leia Bespin along with Luke Bespin, Hoth Stormtrooper, Yoda, BBG (Palitoy), Han Bespin, AT-AT Driver, Lobot. Probably forgotten one or two! Managed to get most of them by selling off all of my Tri/POTF figures.

Would be nice to take a couple more steps to completing my Palitoy Empire focus 8)
Am missing 3 MOC figures to have every Empire figure moc and am missing 5 (but technically 7) MOCs to have every Empire figure on their debut card-have a couple of 30Bs where I should have 30As :wink:

Unused/sealed Palitoy Empire X-Wing original or battle damaged wouldn't go a miss either

Ok so how did I do?!

Well now only missing one MOC to complete all Empire figures MOC still missing 3 30A MOCs, a 30 Fett and a 41 Dengar(if indeed it does exist) for the complete debut run the 30As I am missing I have on 30B so not bad :wink:

Got the Palitoy Empire unused BD X-Wing so am well over the moon

I would like a potf luke stormy moc and a potf r2 pop up sabre.

I would also like a lili ledi moc at a reasonable price

Maybe a couple more miscards.

Finally someone to sell a tri yak that has a bit of a squashed bubble and a creased card for a good price.

The year is still not over and with a farthest from at the weekend, anything can happen.

I have the two potf figures. Got them just before they went to mental. No ledy moc but I have a few nice ledy bits in my collection now so that's ok.

Miscards are always going to be a slow quest. And as for the yak, I am thinking I'm not going to own one for a long time as I'm not paying the Facebook hero price. Hopefully someone will turn up a lead for me. I have seen literally dozens for sale but apparently people are queuing up to pay well over the top for them.

Well this didn't happen! It could have and I managed Palitoy, Meccano and Clipper; then my OCD gave me cause for a rethink. I went down the Palitoy and Meccano route which Im pretty happy with. I'll post a pic of this year's acquisitions after FF!

4. Land Of The Jawas Playset complete with box.
5. Kenner Death Star Playset complete with box.

There are 2 MOCs I'd love to get this year: a 32-back ESB Leia Bespin, and an ESB R2 solid dome.

I haven't managed to purchase either of mine - the prices on both have gone insane this year. However, I have another grail item on the way that more than makes up for it...!!

Well, I got the boxed Palitoy weapons this time last year, so achieved that before 2015 started.

However in 2015 I have managed 6 Palitoy MOC - though sadly no miscard this year...missed out on three!!

Managed 7 boxed 12" figures

Started the Micro collection and amost completed it, just 2 to go. Completed diecast collection too.

Still not managed the display room, though am a large step closer than I was this time last year 8)

Find remaining parts for my Palitoy Death Star
Finish remaining Ewoks moc on Tri logo
Get my misses to get her crap out of the back room so I can do a decent display room

The last 1 may be my biggest challenge yet

#1 Done
#2 Got all except Lumat
#3 Done and even she loves it
Bring on 2016
