What's the difference between Palitoy and Kenner logos?

I understand some figures were packed with 'Palitoy' logos and others with 'Kenner' logos. What's the history behind this? I understand that Palitoys are much more valuable on the card but is there any reason why?

Basically, Kenner were the brains behind all figures and were the American company involved in designing them and Palitoy was the UK company that got the license to sell them under their name in the UK.

The Palitoy logo ran on the front of the SW and ESB cards (a very nice blue and red logo)

They then stopped for the ROTJ run (not sure why) and you ended up with a blank front and the Palitoy name on the back of the card with the address in Coalville in Leicestershire

There are loads of different ones depending on the country you are looking for. General Mills is the German ones for example

Great photo Gary! I am confused- at a quick glance I can see a few of the first 12 aren't there- did some of the 45b backs come with figures that didn't appear on the back?
Or did the first 12 that didn't appear on 45b backs end up on 65 backs instead?
Haven't seen a logoless esb jawa, do they exist?

There's more on my cardback run including the jawa. R2-D2 and C3PO didn't appear on the 45b, the other 10 did. Some of them are pretty rare, the sand people especially. Haven't seen an example of that, as MOC or cardback.
