What's the best movie of the originals?

The beautiful thing about the original trilogy is they are all great.
IV - Opening gunfight, when Ben Kenobi says "Hello there. Come here my little friend don't be afraid" (he was talking to me through the TV!), the haunting music of the Luke sunset scene, the cantina scene & music, Han Solo, Luke & Leia swinging across the broken bridge, the entire Death Star Battle
V - The super star destroyer. The entire Hoth scene, i used to watch it and rewind it over and over again. Yoda. Seeing the Bounty Hunters, just cool. The entire Luke Vader duel, Lukes face and emotion when he finds out! The final scene.
VI - Luke entering the palace, the escape, the imperial shuttle, the speeder bikes, the space battle, it's a trap, the epic epic duel.
The music in all of them.
S##t i can't choose. I want to say "You never forget your first love", so that would be Eps IV. For the pure Hoth battle and brilliant story, i'd say Eps V. But then again, i actually have a soft spot for Eps VI, especially after CEII!

Empire every time for me, just love it, and something about it makes me feel very comfortable, maybe it's a regression thing.
Still remember when it was on at christmas one year, desperately trying to get a decent picture on the black and white portable telly to be able to watch as no one else wanted to watch it!!

Probably depends what mood I'm in to be honest, all 3 are magical for different reasons. Such a tough call, but for pure nostalgia I'll say ANH.

ESB - purely for the Hoth scene.
ANH has the cantina which is awesome and the Death Star but little lightsabre action. ROTJ has an improved cantina scene and more action but (and this is not an anti-ewok thing) the empire should have annihilated the ewoks. I don't recall seeing a stormtrooper even firing a weapon?
The Hoth scene, Boba Fett, the bounty hunters, Vader's ship, the emperor, yoda although I don't really care for him, are all top notch moments.

Empire and Jedi hold the most childhood memories for me so to echo what quite a few have already said, Empire as a film is the best but Jedi to me is the most enjoyable to watch.
A New Hope is a classic in it's own right ( which goes with out saying ) and will always hold the mantle for having the most goose pimply moment with the opening sequence.

Empire is like the wife - the one you chose to stick with because things just kind of work and you know a good thing when you see it ...hopefully
Jedi is like the ex girlfriend that you have fond memories of - cheap thrills and good times mixed with a bit of stupid crap, but what the hell

First time we see the executor super star destroyer.
There is no Tarkin to stop vader. So finally we see vader kill stupid officers :lol:

Like a few, Jedi holds the most childhood memories for me....always loved the whole jabbas palace setting, Luke as a fully fledged Jedi knight and the moment when R2 shots Luke his saber in the desert scene
Saying all that, I have to say that I think ANH is the best film, purely for the groundbreaking effects and genre defining movie that it was. The film still looks as good now and would captivate an audience if released today! As some one said earlier the music alone was just brilliant. Let alone the whole cantina scene, brilliant casting of characters (Guinness, Ford etc) and so much more.
Just my two cents anyway.....

The hoth battle scene is epic and when you think it's time for a rest, Han, Leia, Chewie and C3P0 are chased relentlessly in the Falcon by the Empire.
The only bit of the film that drag's is the Dagobah part - still good, but overlong IMO.
