I have a ghost of Obi-wan box as well. And you can tell that this box is much older. The tape is very yellowed.

It's going to be a vintage figure for sure.

Great interview that, good luck on the some rare prototype thing, you can always hope eh, pretty convinced it's going to be an Emperor though, but will be the mostest famous & valuable Emperor mailer out there 8) the lengths folks will go to, to add value to their common figures eh :lol:

It was actually pretty fun doing the filming. They asked lots of questions about the box and lots about my collection. They also seemed very interested in why I fix and repair old toys, and why star wars collectors don't like that while other collectors don't mind. Overall a very interesting time.

They only thing I found hard is when they asked what sort of prices these things go for. As I only ever buy stuff it's cheap and they wanted to know what the top end prices where.
I pulled a few sums out, but I could be way off.

Apparently they do an edit today and show it to some top brass who make a decision on if they want to use me.

The two people who came had spent the previous day with a woman who had the second largest hello kitty collection.

Just to let you all know the scan has been put on hold for a week as the BBC want to use it as part of there new series of collectaholics. I'm not quite sure when the scan is going to be as they are waiting to confirm dates with everyone.

This means that the filming I did last week all went well and the liked my toy room And that I didn't come across to weird. So that's a plus for me I guess.
