Whatever happened to IOP

That place seems to died off horribly!
I was never a member but I check the boards every once in a while, since the start of the year virtually no one has posted over there. Well, apart from Jay(massive) asking if it had closed! :lol:

Before, anyone says anything, I have nothing against IOP. I think the more UK based SW forums the better, and it's sad to see that place going to the dogs!

Where have all it's members gone?
Can we get those that aren't already members here to sign up? There was talk of a sort of challenge between the two sites but I guess that's not gonna happen now. Better to get their members who are still remotely active over here rather than let them all drift off into the ether, surely!?

Angel, you know any of them who would be interested in joining? I know DIJ and "Carl" joined briefly a while back, any others who would be worth contacting? (Assuming of course they are up for a laugh and not the RS type!)

I'm not exactly sure some of the other members would like joining up here, from what they've seen of the members here mentioning no names JABBA I don't think they'd like it.

IOP use to be great with some great members, just like here and its only died as people stopped posting over there , I think they just all talk with each other on msn

A lot of the regulars stopped posting and the traffic died away.

It wouldn't take much to get it getting going and it isn't like it is dead - you can still post there - just nobody hardly does :|
