I sold my collection in the early 90's. It was the bane of my life for many years, I was never going to come back to Star Wars collecting after that.
Yet here I am reading all your waffle on this forum going back years now catching up on what I've missed is like heroin.
It's taken me so long to get back here. Although I sold all that boxed and carded good stuff I never got rid of my childhood collection and I've always added modern bits with Xmas and birthday requests. AT the moment I'm drip feeding out of a large box in the garage, today I dug deep to see if I could put together a complete X-wing, which I could although 2 of the guns had been chewed on the ends? Ffs who chews their x-wing guns? I do have a brief recollection of enjoying chomping on them though. And a canopy with one missing lug, add a luke X wing with marker pen all over him and we're up on a step ladder with fishing line hanging them from the rafters ....
