What would be an equal equivalent of a Falcon?

At-At with Darth Vader, At-At driver and At-At commander :)

How much were the At-At and Falcon back then?

I rem the AT-AT costing around £36 from Argos. The Falcon would have been somewhere in the £20 range. However my mothers friend used to do late night shopping in Tesco and one eve they got a pallet board of Kenner imported AT-ATs which flew out at around £22 each, so got one of them for X-mas :D

See link below this is from the Argos Catalogue Autumn 1985

AT-AT £17.95
Falcon £12.95!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure they cost more than this back in the day, or did the price reduce due to a wain in the popularity of Star Wars
by Autumn 85 :?

Only the AT-AT would have been good enough if your brother had gotten a Falcon.

Christmas 1983, I remember choosing an X Wing and some shi*ty Mini Riggs instead of a Falcon, I still regret that to this day.

That's quite pricey for back then. Think I must have been a right spoiled little ****. By 1985 I had the Falcon, Rebel Transporter, At-At, B-wing, DV Tie Fighter, X-Wing, Snowspeeder, Rancor, Taun Taun, various mini rigs, figures, not to mention A-Team, Transformers, MASK, Go-Bots, He-Man, Matchbox, Scalextric... Only 9 at the time

Crazy amounts of money being spent by the folks. Our kids aren't so lucky  Of course I had two homes to go to which helped :D

Jesus!
Star Wars was my life but I was no where near that lucky, my biggest items were the Rebel Transport and an AT ST. I always wanted the Falcon and an AT AT but alas they never came.
Wow you were a lucky lad!

Indeed! Ur talking 4+ years later than the prices I quoted. In fact I rem a late 80s Argos cat pricing the AT-AT at around £12 :!:

I know. Was a very lucky kid.

Just looked at that argos page. Wow! remember looking through catalogues at all the toys for Christmas (and a sneaky glance in the lingerie pages  ). Takes me back.

Good thread

Oh I think we all did that.
Even at a very young age I had a feeling that the chicks in the Kays catalogue were more slutty than the hunnies in the Littlewoods catalogue
Top Banana! :D

When the new Argos catalogue ever came out I was always straight to the toys section (always at the back) then to the index to look up 'Showers' back then there was always a female 'showering' with hands and etched glass carefully positioned
