What is taking Vectis so long to list the next Star Wars auction??

It is pretty underwhelming compared to previous auctions but hey, they don't make the stuff. They can only sell what comes through the front door.

For me there are about 6 pieces in that lot that I would love to own. The rest I don't really care about.

If I bought all 6 it would break the bank. If I get one I will be very very happy.

Nah. There are only 2 square cards I'm interested in and neither are in very good condition. One is. It very rare. There are some nice miscards I will be punting on and a couple of other Mocs I fancy. Plus a couple of other oddball lots.

I agree, nothing jumps out at me. Maybe a few cheeky bids but definitely no need to break the bank or get upset if I got nothing!

£60-£80 for a loose YPS trooper with no gun or cape? £5-10 is nearer the mark.

Someone dropped the ball on that one.

Some nice pieces but a lot of standard stuff that will no doubt fetch good prices

Got my eye on one of those square cards too :)

Yes I was LOL'ing to myself when I saw that one

Thankfully not much there for me, no baggies really & no PD stuff, hey not that it would matter as I have never won a single lot form them being tight

Lots great looking stuff in there that I would like to bid on. Shame I'm skint.

Jason

I guess I would just have to give you the same advice you recently gave me, my friend:

3) Sell some stuff to fund getting some new stuff

I guess I haven't been paying much attention to Vectis the past few auctions because they must have had some pretty killer stuff for all of you guys to say this auction is pretty underwhelming. all the Meccano 12 back and square cards alone make this for a pretty interesting auction.

Also interested to see how Marc Walsh's preproduction stuff does....

I have bid in maybe one or two Vectis auctions in the past, but it was a year or two ago. Do they yet have an option to bid directly on their site? Last time I did it, I had to bid through auctionzip.com. Is that still the case?

Hey Ross, you can bid direct once you register a credit card in advance.

A reasonable selection but nothing I personally need. I can see a few pieces certain focus collectors will be fighting over though! All the estimates seem very low too.

Use a debit card to buy , you will give hit with more fees on a credit card !!

2 to 2.5k would be my guess

Sounds like a reasonable guess and this really is the stand out item for me that I'll never own

Ian ,

I will be honest , I have owned 4 VCJ , 1 AFA85 and the rest loose and always found them underwhelming !!
