I agree but have never seen a VCJ packed with this kind of bubble, is this common on these types of card backs?

I thought the VCJ only came on the Kenner cards. Toltoys and possibly Palitoy.

Definitely palitoy rather than possibly. That's the r2-d2 transition bubble with ckear raised back plate. On Kenner and palitoy cards that only ever contained a cloth cape jawa. Bubble has signs of being resealed.

I translated the German into pigeon English using google and the sellers pitch is below I just wandered if the VCJ is genuine. I'm desperate to enquire a VCJ but don't want to get conned or pay the money he's asking. He's also selling some other interesting stuff if you look at his 'items for sale' although alot of the stuff has gone since I looked yesterday.

Collection resolution !!! In this auction I am offering a very rare Vinyl Caped Jawa on Italian 12 back card . The map is ( cling of 2 ) apart from slight marks on the border and a total of four staple holes get really really nice . The blister has gotten some punches ( see photo ) , but otherwise intact , unfortunately he was well solved once and was " resealed " . The Jawa figure in the blister is original and top . I solve the time my Star Wars collection (including Star Wars Regular Display Stand MIB , Darth Vader 12 inch MIB , Chewbacca 12 inch MISB , Star Wars 12 Back Header , Boba Fett 21 Back Header 1979) and other action figures collection (including Clash of the Titans Kraken 1980 MIB , etc ) on , if interested just a short email. After consultation , the pieces may be of course also examines , just a short email so we can arrange an appointment .

it does state reseal in the description and the cape looks genuine to me, but there could be real damage to the cape that is unseen making this a bad purchase,

a risk...but in terms of the cape it looks fine.

yes there was and someone on RS ended up tracking it down and purchasing it. From what I remember it had the regular VCJ bubble so I can only think this had a cloth one originally and the VCJ was added to it (for some reason?!).

At that price you'd have to really want that card back as the VCJ would be a gamble on it's condition. Now if it was a Palitoy card back with the right style bubble……….

I love his other auction for a 12 inch Kenner Chewie (box looks really nice I have to say). What made me laugh was that one picture shows chewie having pulled his own arms off and in the next picture it shows the kenner 'We Really Do care' insert which I found ironic.

The seller is admitting that it's a reseal I was just wandering if the VCJ was legit.
It is a shame it's a reseal because I just love the look of these Italian cards might try and add a more affordable piece (if there is such a thing) to my collection.

Why reseal a Capo Jawa Harbert with A VCJ when it hasn't been proven any existed in the first place...odd?

The only sealed Capo Jawas are cloth capes.
