Is that sculpey supposed to be heated so it stiffens?
Or is it just clay you can mis-shape by touching?

There are different grades of sculpy and it is not the only material on the market. I have used two compound weld putty. It is workable and hardens like steel within hours. It can be found in stores in the hardware section.

In regards to the fisher price people. Ben, vader, chewy and the stormie all had sculpt added to them. The stormie head and vader head look to be all sculpt and chewy may have used a fisher price body...but he is entirely cover in sculpting material. Bens head has sculpt added for his beard and hair. Fisher price adventure people are cheap...so this could be fun.

The space commanders head has beard and lots of hair, quite the George Lucas lookalike, Chewie was made from a
Bionic Bigfoot figure, so it doesn't look like too much work to sculpt what's needed.
Agreed, looks like lots of fun to do. 8)
