Hey guys, I have been getting ribbed to get this limelight on the go for a long long time & I will try to add group shots to it at a later date, but have put the whole collection in this rather than just my baggies, & a bit about the room which has been a right labour of love I can tell you.

When I moved to the new house there was a huge void above our heads in the loft space, just an empty shell, not even any insulation  but that was 18 months ago & I could see it all in my minds eye & at bloody last its as good as finished - thank the bloody maker as its been a stressful project to say the least & boy does that insulation **** itch :x the big plus was the fact that the loft space has no cross beams & RSJ's running lengthwise leaving a huge usable space.

It pretty much started as it went on being a total pig of a job what with the owner having bodged every conceivable job on the place, but I won't go in to details as TBH its bloody boring!.

The main display which is for the baggie collection is on the I beams & can be covered with magnetically affixed boards so not on display constantly, both sides of the beams can be used, but only the fronts have the removable boards - absence make the heart grow fonder & all that & it will nice to have that feeling of really needing to pull those boards down so you can see the labour of your collection & feel the anticipation that you get when all your collection is in boxes packed away, but with the ability to get the fix whenever you want it.

The loose & loose variants will be on display constantly on either side of the room in 6 display cabinests, the wall mounted ones are home made, again with magnetic fronts for easy access to the collection, & 2 floor standing rotating cabinets.

& the biggie - I got to paint the whole bloody room black black black

The room its self which has storage space either side with 4 magnetic doors & a little room I have made to house my Hi-fi kit & the TV to give the sunken effect, always wanted to do this as I love my tunes & have had to live without them for the last 18 months - the longest I have gone without a stereo since I was & & its been hell, but I am chuffed to get it done, all the cables nicely tucked away in the room behind & running round the room all hidden, door to this is also magnetic as are ll the board above.

Just need to add my 3 childhood figures & a couple more items when I find them, as said I will update the thread with some baggie figure specific group shots.

That took bloody ages  hope you enjoy

Cool room you've got to display everything Frank!
The figure displays look great and i love those trilogo miscards! 8) 8)

Nice one Frank! Glad to see you finally get round to doing this. It looks neat. 8)

Id have loved a space like that a year or two ago for my carded collection. You can really afford to go to town in there. Are the storage conditions ok for the baggies? Will the tape sealed ones be ok in the long run do you think? I always have my concerns about loft space storage.

Either way, bravo buddy its a wicked space and totally bag-tastic! Looking forward to you adding to your man cave in the coming years!

Chris. 8)

Great Frank!!!

I'm so glad to finally see your collection mate! What an incredible run!! Its an amazing sight, so many awesome bags there buddy. All those multipacks..... Breath taking. How long have been on this run mate?

Lastly that's one hell of a blank canvas, so much potential there. As Chris asked, what do think about the tape sealed bags? Have you put a max min thermometer up there to see what the extremes are? Does it get any damp up there mate?

Great work though Frank!!!

Looking good Frank! It's very black! When are the white wall stickers going on? ;)

You should do a wall of baggies - would be amazing! (Like full on floor to ceiling wall!) Baggie Wallpaper!

Thanks for the 8D8 nod ;)

You know If this was a Ghost hunting show...they would say the loft is haunted........so many spirit orbs in your pictures............................. :D

Great collection.

Any chance of a few more pictures, you've hardly stuck any up!

Frank - That is one freakin awesome Man Cave there. Those baggies well they are exceptional mate What a run! Love your display cabinets too! 8)

Keep up the good work buddy! :)

Thanks for all you kind words guys

Been on the baggie run since 2006, but had a rather large break from the hobby.

No bloody idea why I got all the "ghost globes" but the owners wife did die while living here so you never know.

I don't want to go to over board & kill the feel of the room with to much stuff, hence the magnetic cover boards, but there are a few other things planned for the future, but its a bit of a multi purpose space, display/music/film & yes sex slave lounge

Weaz I am sure I can help - 100 more do you?, nothing worse than not seeing enough of a collection though & its been that long coming that I thought I had best blast it

Like the wall of baggies idea Joe, but white? - don't bloody swear at me.

Chris - finally got round to it, cheeky git, been at it 18 bloody months :|

Not sure I want to add any further shelves Todd, but when more stuff comes my way I dare say I will change my nind.

now the important Q - I have also put a lot of thought in to if the tape sealed baggies will dry in this space, there in no damp what so ever, the room has 3 radiators I have fitted & I try to keep that temp comfortable, it never gets cold as I have insulated the living **** out of it on all sides, though it does sometimes get warmer than I would like, but I am still toying with getting the rad's to just the right setting, bear in mind I have a back boiler so the heating is run solely from the solid fuel back boiler, I will get a thermometer up there asap & keep track of the variations in temp, but fingers crossed it will be ok, only time will tell though.
