I'm sat here with a jumper on and it's rained, at some stage, every single day since the tail end of June. "Summer" my ****ing arse.

James, any room for me to pitch a tent in your back yard? Bound to warmer and drier down Perth way even in the middle of your winter.

****, I forgot about them flies. Bloody millions of the bastards everywhere. Never seen so many as the day we were at the Pinnacles. It was like a plague of locusts.

Weather's not been to bad here in Devon, not the best summer but certainly not the worst. Been warm and hardly had any rain, last couple of weeks has got colder at night and leaves are going brown. :roll: Autumn around the corner. :|

What is this "summer" of which you speak? We have three seasons, Spring, Autumn and Winter. All three and ****ing cold, wet and miserable. When does this "summer" occur, and where can I buy one!?

There are only 2 real seasons. The light one and the dark one. That's how I see it. The rest is just conjecture. :wink:

Lovely day today, kids playing at Grandparents house in paddling pool and I've just been in the garden real hot. I can show you my tan lines if you like. :?

From what I've seen there's a north south split this "summer" Scotland, Norn Iron and northern England have had **** all sun and tonnes of rain. The rest of the country has had a summer.

It's been fine up here in sunny Leyland. Not amazing, but I like a balance so the lawn gets a watering 8)
