Have to say that the new Weequay figure is superb. Great detail. God only knows why he needs another name that isn't Weequay. That's his ****ing name! :roll:

In a toy sense I cant see why real names are needed but maybe so for movies if character will play a big part even though I dont like it. You can see why yak face and hammerhead and walrus man had been given names because the toy names were just based on their appearance but I see no reason at all to change the names on these characters, are both klaatu getting a name.
Pork jenkins is a stupid name based on appearence so y not justcall him fat ****.

Hammerhead does have name doesn't he? Can't remember it but he's some sort of priest guy

I like all that as well. Just don't get why they've named characters something completely different than they were in the films :? Weequay is called Weequay. Surely! He might have a surname, like Smith or sommat.

I think this is the case for a good few of these character 'renames'.

The only downside for me is when matching Vintage characters to their modern counterparts when collecting.

Though I feel the pain, I kind of like it.

One of my favourite little side stories is the one about IG88. He has three or four brothers (or whatever you might call them) with the IG model and then their number. It's not all that interesting i know but then they all go crazy ape bonkers and kill everyone
