WATFORD MARKET?

I heard from a mate that there is a market in watford and theres a pitch there with lots of 80s vintage toys including star wars?

has anyone on here been at all? whats the prices like?

may have to take a trip on the train this saturday and have a look.

Haven't been Watford market in years. Wasn't one last time I was there but that was prob 6 - 7 years ago.

It's actually a decent market, I can pop down at some point and have a look if you want.

I think it might be the guy selling vintage at the Watford comic con a couple of weeks ago. He had lots of other 80's toys too. He's called monkeysemporium on FB.

I picked a couple of boxed bits off him of for not bad prices however the loose figures and MOC's were well over priced.

yeah just looked him up on facebook, looks like he has a nice bunch of stuff, plenty of star wars and he-man, but couldnt see much priced? £120 for a chewy on a jedi card seems a bit steep to me?

been hearing that there's a few record sellers in the market also, may have to go on pay day

its not to far away from you two but there is a collectables shop on chesham high street, he mainly sells records and dvd's plus other collectables but he always has plenty of loose star wars figures in the window (mostly played with jedi figures) last time i was there he had a few boxed mini rigs and boxed speeder bikes for £20 each, worth a look next time youre in that area

I check in there quite often just in case a yak turns up. But unfortunately it's all loose beaters with no guns or accessories for about £7 each. Never seen any boxed vintage, just a few boxed modern.

I picked up a loose good condition R2D2 Pop up sabre (no sabre unfortunately) about 5 years ago from the Chesham shop. Paid £6 and sold it for £35 on ebay the same day.

He also had a yak face for £40 but I left it cos it had pen stains on its face. I do remember he was a strange chap.
