Watch out! Post Fakes, Repros, Customs selling on ebay here

Star Wars Forum UK - British Fan Community for Toys, Movies & Collecting

Help Support Star Wars Forum UK:

This blokes selling a lot of recards that he's listed as genuine vintage, I'm no expert on MOC's but these have been verified as fakes on RS so I thought I'd post it here as well. Even gone to the effort of creasing some of the cards to make them look old, strange how some even have yellowed bubbles.

There's quiet a few that would fetch huge prices if they were legit.

Some one's in for a lot of pain with these.

Ebay name ' mylifeisgr8 ' Yeah life is great because the ***** are going to rip a whole lot of people off.

People if you have time just bombard the fuckers with ebay messages telling them they are scamming twats.

EDIT: job done, all the listings have ended :)

All listings for the above have been ended, a little win for the vintage community.

I'd say he was bombarded with upset collectors including myself and in the end he had no choice, good stuff.

 but on the bright side it is only slightly used.

Poor guy - he must think he is sat on a fortune rather than a $2 item

Jesus wept - repro Ugnaught aprons ???

Whatever next ?

This repro **** will kill this hobby if we are not careful

Unfortunately those capes have been around for a while & sell for the same if not more than real ones
These are the 'new' fake black Palace blasters: http://www.ebay.com/sch/arvid72/m.html?_adv=1&_dmd=1&_in_kw=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
can a few people report it please & hopefully ebay will take them down??

Cheers :)

the fake is in the middle, the extra flashing at the mold seam is the only tell tale. Hopefully my Paypal dispute goes OK.

EDIT- seller has refunded me & listings have ended.

Definitely a fake decal sticker. Look how white and minty it is compared to the figure! Don't actually know if there any actual difference between a repro decal and an original on this figure. Not an expert on... Droids? :?

If you scroll down on his auction is states this....
Droids Version Customised from a sensorscope variant + partial saber

Would display nicely as you can see from the picture.

The original droids versions don't come around very often at all so don't miss out on this chance for a nice display piece!

His listing title leaves a little to be desired...but this is in bold red in his listing.....crappy paint job on the dome anyways.

fake baggies from this seller, the only possible real one would be the amanaman & that is well suss & also a fake IMO - beware

Side note - he states that the Amanaman & the Barada are from a jabbas dungeon set, so how come one is in a kenner baggie & the other in a palitoy, yeah I was born in the morning, just not this morning!

PS can someone who knows there carded check his 2 listed last 17 & see if they are genuine?

Cards themselves look OK but have been opened

The weapon put in the Luke Stormtrooper bubble is blue so that is wrong - with what Frank has pointed out with the baggies I would have a guess that it is a repro and the helmet could be as well

I would steer clear of it all to be honest

Worth the price of the cardbacks and the loose figures. As stated blaster is wrong and the helmet for the luke stormie could be fake but ti is hard tot ell at the angle the helmet is at in the bubble.

Well give the seller a little kudos, he got back to me saying how do I know they are fakes as he has been collecting SW for 30 years, he forgot to add 30 uneducated years, so I sent him a very long in depth message to re educate him

Another ebay seller worth avoiding init, glad I stopped you throwing good money away Liam.

Thanks for your opinions guys ;)

Just a heads up on this Yak Face Guys -
