Hey guys

What do you guys reckon to this. Genuine?? Recard??

yea that was my hunch too. I know you can get some really good early Star WArs card backs but that one looks too good to be true. The fact as well that no where in his description does it state recard or not genuine All he says about is the figure itself. I hate these people with avengance. They ruin collecting for the genuine collectors. Is there any way we can report him to ebay??

Yuk. Another terrible fake. These guys take the piss. Enough signs to see that's its not real.

 if its worth £2000 why doesnt he list it at £1999 or even £1500 thats still a bargain,, knobjockey.

I was saying that to my missus last night. If it was that rare you would start it at 99p. So far its up to £56.00. Some people may want it just to have a carded Jawa in their collection, fake or otherwise.

I sent him a message and reckons he had it valued at a toy auction for £2000. Bwaahahahah

£520!!! for a repro.....Oh Dear.

I take this opportunity to thank you guys for teaching me how to spot the real mcCoy from the repro crap.
Cheers Guys

Will be interesting to see what happens. How effective are ebay at full refunds when fakes are bought for big money? cos if you read the swcc thread he doesn't seem to mind that it might be a fake cos if UKG say its no good he'll get his money back so no harm done. Is this guaranteed or is he taking a risk here?

I think he should be safe. Paypal will ask for proof it's fake and a refusal report from UKG will almost certainly do the trick. He will lose out on the grading cost though.

He'll also lose if the guy clears out his paypal account....Paypal don't refund you the money themselves, they just try to recover it from the sellers account. But if there are no funds in the account they can't recover it.

If he paid with his credit card he might be able to recover the money through them....but i'm not sure.

Judging by the seller's feedback it may take a while before he receives it. It may be a good idea to ask UKG for priority treatment so the seller won't run out the clock on him.

I don't see the point of him sending it to UKG as from what i've learned about how to spot repro's....Its a Repro.

I'm sure if he sent photo's of it to Steve at UKG he'll tell him its not real straight away
