Madine tastic! Whilst we're on the subject then, here's my recent purchase of the grey man from eBay.

First off, a disclaimer: He cost £51 all in and that was only after a) I used a Nectar voucher (promo thing where you got half your points back) and b) the seller sent me back a tenner (which I didn't ask for) because the packaging was a complete and utter joke. Jiffy bag standard. So it's a bit of a cheat, really, but he ended up costing me £51

I've just gone back through the whole of this thread and it is astounding what you can still get for less than £50. Highlights have to be Edd's ROTJ Star Destroyer Commander back at the start and any of the Stormies (whay can I never find one!) altohugh Lee Gregory's £12.50 one may never be beat 8)

Rob Marsh's Chewie is also outstanding - absolute cracker for £40

I think Scott's post sums the whole thread up and why there is no need for repro cards ever - a whole run of Jabba's goons all for less than £50 each. That's not far off black series prices :wink:

This is a project I've been working on for about a year so it still counts. The full run of jabbas goons on jedi cards.

About half were from Iain and the rest from eBay and Toy fairs, all under 50 notes and an average price of just over £30.

Very nice condition card too for that Luke once you flatten it out.

Iv'e heard years ago that introducing a little steam to put some moisture back in the card before you flatten it out can help bring it back to it's normal form, i'm not sure if that can damage the colours in it or not though.

I believe that the weapons were taped to the bubble on Kenner cards from ESB onwards?

I've always loved the slightly grimy retail look of cards like this with all the offer stickers and catalogue/ shop price tags, they for me, become more of an art piece and more attractive for it, and tell more of a story, but then I am a bit mad nice pick up apack
