Vintage Star Wars in regular shops????

Hello.. Does anyone have any stories of anyone finding vintage star wars in regular stores anywhere on earth?

My friend Mat found some Star Wars stuff in 1995 in Spain. He bought 3 pretty dog eared tri logo figures in Mallorca but **** all.

Surely there's better stories out there than that though.

My first figures came from a Chemist in Dagenham in about 1989, Klaatu and logray!

Think they were in the bargain bin with some old colgate toothpaste !
