Not sure if there's been a thread for this but I think it would be cool if everyone post a video of vintage Star Wars commercials or any other video/clips of vintage Star Wars.

I remember one on UK TV where all the stormies were lined waiting for Darth to come out of the Imperial Shuttle. It was all done in some kids bedroom. I wished i had all those Stormtroopers :?

Don't remember any of those early ads. Born in 76 i was probably just a bit too young to notice, unless they were US only.

I've never had the ANH or Jedi playsets. Wow! they looked amazing 8) Land of the Jawas, Death Star, Droid Factory. Would love a complete Death Star with the trash compactor and retractable bridge.

For some reason i'm always fascinated by the prices that things used to cost (maybe because at that age you have no concept of the value of these things)

Notice how the top end price more than doubles over those palitoy commercials!

Though i do appreciate the toys did get more complex, detailed and larger!
