Hi all

Having had these toys 40 odd years ago I'm looking to get a few of the ones that have disappeared from my loft over the years during moves etc. Have found this post on eBay this afternoon https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334263888287 and wondered if these look ok as a bit of a starter set?

£150 seems quite fair at mo, but really asking what everybody thought something like this should go for. I've seen a seller doing separate figures but that seems an expensive way to build a collection.

Any thoughts, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That's a nice little starter set. Good to have the figures complete- better to buy complete if you can (much more economical and hassle free than sourcing accessories separately). Unfortunately, the price will rise considerably on this lot. Figures alone will be £300+ probably.

Thanks for quick response. Yes I see it's already risen to £300 so I'm thinking I'll keep looking. Is eBay best place to buy this sort of thing?

EBay can be fine if you know what you're looking for, beware of repro weapons though.
Before Facebook this was the place to buy but has slowed a lot now, darkside toys on Facebook are a great seller on there

Yes agree, eBay is a minefield for reproduction weapons/accessories. Bargains still can be had, just do your research before buying.
Personally for a Padwan collector stick to established Facebook private groups. These are the 2 main one I use.

But you can't beat buying in person from one of the independent retailers specialising in vintage toys and collectables.

There's a location map here contains a list of places in the UK.
